In an ongoing effort to address stormwater issues in the Township’s older neighborhoods, the Board of Supervisors and the Cranberry Township General Authority are taking the first steps toward a 2027 stormwater project.
On February 5, the Board approved a contract with EADS Group Inc. for design services for the Joan Street Storm Sewer Replacement Project. The existing system was constructed before modern stormwater standards were developed and is in poor condition. It is located beneath utility lines and close to residences and other structures, requiring careful design for the replacement process.
