Are dirt bikes or all-terrain vehicles permitted to operate on private property?
No one is allowed to operate a dirt bike or a quad on private property without the permission of the landowner. But to keep them off your land, the property needs to be posted “No Trespassing.” If it is not posted, police intervention has to be requested by the landowner; a neighbor’s complaint is not a sufficient basis for police action.
